More than Coal
Exploring Significant Natural History in the Lower Hunter Valley and Creative Ways to Love it
The Lower Hunter Valley, a place I love, is often viewed through the lens of coal; both production and shipping. But this book demonstrates we are so much more. Twenty-four areas of significant natural history are showcased; beautiful environments and amazing nature; demonstrated through artworks and information. Not just a book for the coffee table, take it with you and visit these places. Plus there are ways to connect with these sites through simple, inexpensive, anyone-can-do-them art exercises and suggestions for going further in your love for this world that is around us.
"Bronwyn Greive's book is testament to her living in one of the most stunning areas of natural beauty.
From coastlines, rivers, islands, lakes to the mountains, this is the area she loves and calls home.
As you turn the pages you too will be swept into the uniques of the Hunter and surrounds."

A peek inside.....
"She [Bronwyn] helps to grow our emotional connection with our incredible land, by encouraging each in our own creativity; some of her work involved school children creating murals depicting lands in the Hunter Valley."
